Buenos Aires: Las Calles de Borges

Ian Ruschel , a 26 year old Director working at Zeppelin Films in Porto Alegre, Brazil, made this awesome video as a homage to legendary poet Jorge Luis Borges, one of the greatest writers of all time. The video was shot during the 2010 Argentinian winter in Buenos Aires and Capilla del Señor. It was taken with a Canon 5d and with 4 different lenses: Canon 50mm 1.4, Lensbaby 50mm 2.0, Canon Macro 100mm 2.8, Sigma 10-20mm 3.5. The video was then edited and color graded in Final Cut Pro using Twixtor, Knoll Light Factory and Magic Bullet. Check out more of his videos here!

If some of you are not familiar with Jorge Luis Borges works here are some lines:
“Time is the substance from which I am made. Time is a river which carries me along, but I am the river; it is a tiger that devours me, but I am the tiger; it is a fire that consumes me, but I am the fire.”
“Poets, like the blind, can see in the dark.”
