Two crazy detailed drawings by Robert Longo. The first (terrifying) one was drawn using charcoal on mounted paper and the replica of Eugène Delacroix, ‘The Barque of Dante’ was drawn using graphite on paper. ‘Longo has in recent years begun making intimately-scaled drawings of iconic artworks that have inspired or informed his own works. To date he has drawn works by Caravaggio, Brancusi, Rodin, Warhol, Bosch, Pollock, Hopper and Johns, among others. Each is an artwork in which Longo has found great inspiration.’ Check out his works online! Enjoy
